Department of Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista checks the operational efficiency of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines’ communications, navigation and surveillance/air traffic management (CNS/ATM) systems on Oct. 30, 2024 in preparation for the anticipated surge of air travelers during All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day. Bautista confirmed that all CNS/ATM systems were fully operational to prevent any untoward incidents, with CAAP personnel on standby and contingency plans in place to minimize potential flight disruptions during this peak travel period.
