Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Amenah Pangandaman discusses the Philippines’ gender-budget tagging initiative at the High-Level Panel on Implementing Actionable Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Strategies as part of the International Conference on WPS which opened on Oct. 28, 2024. The share of Gender and Development (GAD) in the national government budget increased to 16 percent from 3 percent in the previous administration.
