A ‘rising star’ in the electric vehicle (EV) market, Vietnamese car brand VinFast has officially launched its highly anticipated VF 7 electric SUV during Day 1 of the 12th Philippines Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS). This marks the third VinFast model available in the Philippines, following the VF 5 and VF 3, and reinforces the company’s commitment to promoting sustainable transportation across Southeast Asia.
The VF 7 is available in two variants: the Base and Plus versions, catering to a wide range of customer preferences. Pricing starts at PHP 1,470,000 for the Base version with a battery subscription, reaching up to PHP 1,760,000 with the battery included. The Plus version ranges from PHP 1,730,000 to PHP 2,380,000, depending on the battery option chosen. Notably, the battery subscription plans begin at a budget-friendly PHP 6,300 per month, allowing customers to optimize costs based on their travel habits.

Customers can make a refundable deposit of PHP 5,000 via VinFast’s official website or through authorized dealerships. Those who reserve their VF 7 by November 24 will benefit from discounts of up to PHP 53,000 and receive gifts valued at up to PHP 57,000.

The VF 7 Plus boasts dual electric motors that deliver an impressive 348.6 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, complemented by all-wheel drive capabilities. Its 75.3 kWh battery offers a maximum driving range of approximately 496 km on a full charge, based on NEDC standards. The Base version features a single electric motor generating 174 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, with a 59.6 kWh battery that provides a range of 430 km.
Both versions are equipped with essential safety features, including electronic stability control, traction control, hill-start assist, and anti-roll control. The Plus variant enhances safety with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), which includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and more.
Designed by the prestigious Torino Design studio in Italy, the VF 7 combines aesthetic appeal with functional performance, showcasing a unique design and refined finishes.
To further ease the transition to electric mobility, VinFast offers a robust after-sales service package, including a 10-year/200,000 km vehicle warranty and a 10-year unlimited mileage battery warranty for battery purchases. Customers opting for the battery subscription will also benefit from free maintenance and battery replacement if capacity falls below 70%.
