Hotel Okura Manila, part of Newport World Resorts, has been included in the Michelin Guide Hotel selection for 2024, marking its debut in the renowned global list. It is one of six properties from the Philippines to be featured and the only one within an integrated resort.
The Michelin Guide, known for over a century in the tourism industry, highlights top experiences in gastronomy and hospitality worldwide. The guide’s hotel recommendations are curated by experts in international design, architecture, and hospitality standards.
Opened in 2022, Hotel Okura Manila is part of Japan’s Okura Nikko Hotels & Resorts. In its two years of operation, it has gained recognition, including a spot in the Tatler Dining Guide Philippines and the 2023 Luxury Dining Destinations list for its Japanese restaurant, Yamazato. The hotel was also awarded TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Award in 2024.
