The Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) has announced its decision to withdraw from participation in all future Maisug rallies.
In a memo signed by Executive Minister Marlon Acobo, the organization cited various constraints as the reason for this change.
KOJC emphasized that its ministry’s work in evangelism has become its top priority, indicating a strategic focus on internal ministry efforts rather than external political involvement.
“KOJC ministry’s work in Evangelism, which was neglected for a while, is now KOJC’s topmost priority and concern,” it reads.
The Maisug rallies, known for their public mobilization platform that advocates social change, have historically attracted significant participation from various religious groups.
Previously, KOJC had been a vocal participant in these rallies, often using the platform to address social and political issues.
The memo expressed gratitude for the understanding of its followers but has not provided details on how it plans to enhance its evangelistic efforts moving forward.
