To celebrate a new chapter in delivering a luxurious driving experience like no other, Lotus Philippines proudly reopened its showroom in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig last August 16. The event delivered even more luster when it also debuted the highly anticipated  all-new Emeya, the brand’s first electric hyper Grand Tourer (GT), during its festivities.

The Emeya embodies Lotus’ rich heritage in performance, blending cutting-edge technologies with the brand’s renowned engineering DNA. With a remarkable acceleration from 0-100 km/h in under 2.8 seconds and a maximum WLTP range of 610 km, the Emeya sets a new benchmark for electric vehicles. Its fast-charging capabilities allow drivers to recharge from 10 to 80% in just 14 minutes using a 400-kW DC fast charger, making it one of the fastest-charging electric vehicles available today.

Designed for both performance and everyday usability, the Emeya features an all-electric powertrain that delivers up to 905 bhp. Advanced aerodynamics, including an active front grille and a rear diffuser, enhance airflow and stability, while a low center of gravity improves handling.

Inside, the Emeya offers a luxurious experience with a spacious boot of up to 509 liters, perfect for everyday needs. The interior showcases sustainable materials, such as Wyron Truecycle thread made from repurposed fibers, highlighting Lotus’ commitment to eco-friendly practices. Ambient lighting and five massage modes ensure a relaxing atmosphere for all passengers.

The vehicle is equipped with a 15.1-inch HD OLED infotainment system powered by Unreal Engine, providing an interactive driving experience. A 55-inch head-up display keeps vital information accessible without distracting the driver. Safety features include an array of sensors and cameras that provide 360-degree perception, enhancing driver confidence.

Willy Tee Ten, President of the Autohub Group, emphasized the importance of the new showroom, stating, “This facility represents our unwavering commitment to elevate the Lotus brand in the Philippines.” As part of the launch promotion, customers who reserve the Emeya by 31 October 2024 will receive complimentary paint protection film, window tinting, and a home charger. With the reopening of Lotus Manila, the brand is set to redefine the luxury electric vehicle landscape in the Philippines.
