Emirates has significantly expanded its connectivity, doubling the number of cities it serves beyond its own network in the past year. The airline now offers access to nearly 1,700 additional cities through an extensive network of partnerships, including 31 codeshare agreements, 118 interline collaborations, and 13 rail and helicopter services.
Over the last year, Emirates launched 16 new partnerships, including codeshares with Avianca and Batik Air Malaysia, and finalized interline agreements with KAM Air, Sri Lankan Airlines, Condor, Flynas, Viva Aerobus, Sun Express, Maldivian, Siberia Airlines, and Kenya Airways. Notably, the airline introduced a unique interline partnership with BLADE, enabling customers to book helicopter flights between Nice and Monaco on a single ticket.
Emirates’ network now includes rail connections with Trenitalia, Spanish Rail Renfe, Austrian Rail OBB, and Swedish Rail SJ, providing seamless travel from plane to train across Europe. The airline’s expanded partnerships enable over 61,000 passengers to connect through Emirates and its partners each week.
With 162 partners across more than 100 countries, Emirates offers a range of travel benefits including flexible schedules, single ticket itineraries, baggage transfers, and frequent flyer perks. For customers flying on partner airlines, popular destinations are more accessible through Emirates’ extensive network and enhanced connectivity at Dubai International Airport (DXB).
Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, highlighted the airline’s commitment to expanding its global presence and connectivity. “We’ve doubled down on our strategy of deepening our global footprint by forging new partnerships and enhancing existing ones,” Kazim said. “Our growth ambitions align with Dubai’s D33 strategy, aiming to make our hub the most connected city in the world.”
The airline’s partnership with flydubai has enabled it to offer customers access to over 230 destinations across 100 countries and 275 codeshare flights daily. Since its inception in 2017, the partnership has facilitated connections for over 17.5 million passengers.
Emirates also maintains strong partnerships with major airlines like United, Air Canada, and Qantas, providing unmatched access to over 350 destinations in the Americas, Australia, and New Zealand. The airline’s network expansions include over 375 cities in the Americas, 380 cities in Europe, more than 500 cities in Asia, and 210 regional points in Africa.
The airline’s loyalty program, Emirates Skywards, and its cargo division, Emirates SkyCargo, work closely with partners to enhance travel and cargo benefits. Emirates Airport Services ensure smooth connections and access to dedicated lounges at both Dubai and outstation locations.
