China Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian attended a seminar at the Chinese Embassy in Manila for the first Filipino-Chinese Elite Training Course on Aug. 22, 2024.
The discussion provided a platform for young Filipino-Chinese leaders to share their ideas and achievements.
During the seminar, Huang listened to the trainees as they did brainstorming sessions and discussed their accomplishments.
He highlighted China’s role as a stabilizing force in the face of a turbulent international environment.
Huang stressed China’s commitment to deepening reforms and opening up presents significant opportunities for global prosperity, particularly for neighboring countries.
He also encouraged the young leaders to actively promote positive values within the Filipino Chinese community.
Huang urged them to embody and advocate for principles such as frugality, hard work and dedication, while also working to build a positive image for local Chinese communities.
The seminar underscored the importance of nurturing the next generation of leaders and fostering stronger ties between China and the Philippines.
