FFCCCII, Ningde foster closer ties at promotion show

The Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) co-organized Ningde City’s “Economy, Trade, Culture and Tourism Promotion Show” on July 25, 2024 at the federation building’s exhibition hall.

FFCCCII executive vice president Victor Lim, honorary president Tan Ching and Secretary Bai Xun from the Chinese Embassy in Manila’s Economic and Commerce Attaches’ Office attended the event.

Ningde City Mayor Zhang Guang Ning extended his gratitude to FFCCCII, acknowledging the federation’s significant role in the Philippines’ national development.

Zhang expressed hope for strengthened economic and cultural ties between Ningde and the Philippines through the promotion show.

Ningde, located in Fujian Province, China, boasts of a diverse landscape with a total area of 1.34 square kilometers of land and 4.45 square kilometers of sea.

The city features a 1,046-kilometer coastline and is renowned for its natural and cultural attractions, including Ten Miles Water Street, Hundred Miles Gallery, Thousand Miles Waterfall and picturesque coastal wetlands and islands.

Ningde’s cultural and tourism markets experienced significant growth in the first half of 2024, leading to its selection as a top tourism destination in East China.

The promotion show provided a platform for exploring potential collaborations and fostering deeper bilateral relations between Ningde and the Philippines.
