Filipino hurdler John Cabang Tolentino, citing an injury, will no longer participate in the repechage of the men’s 110m hurdles.
This marks the end of the Philippine athletics bet’s 2024 Paris Olympics campaign.

“I am so sorry. I’m not gonna be able to run due to an injury,” Tolentino posted on social media.
“Thanks to all the people who supported me. Laban, Pilipinas (fight, Philippines)!” he added.
Still remaining in contention among Philippine bets are Aira Villegas and Nesthy Petecio (boxing), Dottie Ardina and Bianca Pagdanganan (golf), and Vanessa Sarno, Elreen Ando, and John Ceniza (weightlifting).
