Filipino-American hurdler Lauren Hoffman has failed to qualify for the women’s 400m hurdles semifinals after ending up last in Heat 3 of the repechage.
Hoffman finished the repechage with a recorded time of 58.28 seconds.

She needed to make one of the top two spots in the repechage to remain in contention and advance to the semifinals.
