Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte has lauded the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) for their outstanding service during the recent Pride Festival 2024, held at the Quezon City Memorial Circle on June 22, 2024.
The event, which saw the participation of thousands, including several ambassadors, was marked by its festive atmosphere and smooth execution, attributed largely to the effective collaboration between various agencies and the vigilant presence of QCPD officers.
Belmonte highlighted the seamless cooperation among different city agencies and praised the QCPD for their crucial role in ensuring public safety.
She expressed her gratitude for the police force’s dedication and efforts in maintaining order throughout the celebration. The heightened police presence was particularly noted as a key factor in the event’s success, enabling attendees to enjoy the festivities without incident.
