The Las Piñas City government is pursuing initiatives to elevate urban development, uplift community welfare, and bolster financial management.
This was discussed during the City Council’s 87th regular session chaired by Vice Mayor April Aguilar.
One significant agenda item was the endorsement from the Office of the City Mayor requesting approval of contracts for the Health Facility Enhancement Program, which aims to enhance local health centers.
The council also assessed a request to establish new positions in the Office of the City Treasurer and Business Permit and Licensing Office, with the goal of improving administrative efficiency.
The council also considered requests to waive penalties and interest on business and transfer taxes for various entities and individuals, in line with efforts to provide financial relief to the community.
