LTO opens satellite office in Naga City, Cebu

Another Land Transportation Office (LTO) branch on Thursday opened to the public in Naga City, Cebu to bring government services closer to the people, in accordance with President Marcos’ instructions under his ‘Bagong Pilipinas’ governance agenda.

LTO chief Vigor Mendoza II said the additional extension and satellite offices would reinforce the ongoing full digitalization efforts of the agency’s services from application and renewal of a driver’s license to the application and renewal of motor vehicle registration.

“Our digitalization efforts, along with our plans to open more satellite and extension offices, would make it easier for the Filipino people to enjoy fast and comfortable services of the LTO,” Mendoza said.

“Its long-term benefits are in line with the advocacy of our Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista for the safety of all road users, being one of the primary mandates of your LTO,” he stressed.

Mendoza called on the city’s LTO employees as well as the entire Central Visayas to help the government realize the vision of President Marcos to deliver fast and comfortable services to the Filipinos.

The LTO chief claimed this has been his guiding principle since his assumption into office in July 2023.

Mendoza thanked the LTO personnel for their services that are now leading the agency in winning back the trust and confidence of the Filipino people.

“Once we have fixed all the challenges in the LTO, including the normalization of the supply of plastic cards and license plates, the people of the town will surely appreciate our hard work,” he said.

Mendoza urged all LTO officials and employees to continue extending the free theoretical driving course to as many poor Filipinos.
