Community event highlights the importance of denture care
A denture care brand recently held an event at Trinoma Activity Center to kick off its new campaign called “Oplan Balik-Ngiti.” It was attended by 145 people including beneficiaries, aimed to teach everyone about taking care of dentures.
Through this event, the brand hopes to bring more smiles to Filipinos and encourage everyone to feel confident with their smiles.
The event was hosted by actress Tuesday Vargas. Jeffrey Go, the General Manager of Haleon Philippines, gave an inspiring speech about how their company wants to improve people’s oral health and help them feel more confident with dentures.
Christine Ticatic, Polident’s Brand Manager, shared exciting news for 2024 and talked about Polident’s goal to bring smiles to 1,000 Filipino people by providing free dentures. Polident also announced partnerships with the Philippine Dental Association (PDA), Philippine Association of Registered Dental Technologists (PARDTI), and new partners like Mercury Drug, St. Joseph Drug, and Rose Pharmacy.
During the event, Dr. Emmanuel Centeno from PDA spoke about the country’s oral health goals, while Ricky Robles from PARDTI talked about why it’s important to get dentures from safe and certified places.
Actress Melai Cantiveros, who supports Polident’s advocacy, shared her own story about dental health and the importance of a confident smile. She also cleared up some myths about taking care of dentures with Dr. Aimee Yang-Go.
The event had booths offering free check-ups, demos on making dentures, and information about Polident products. People who received free dentures from Polident spoke about how it changed their lives.
Polident’s campaign doesn’t stop here. They’re planning to go to different parts of the Philippines with their “Oplan Balik Ngiti: Ilabas ang Ngiting Pustiso Confident Caravan” to give out more free dentures and teach people how to care for them properly.
