SID Global Solutions is on a mission to transform how people live and work with a blend of innovation and transformational power of cutting-edge technology
US-based SID Global Solutions, a leading privately owned digital company, will invest $20 million in the Philippines in a bid to advance the digital economy, with hopes the injection will create 2,000 jobs.
“This move signifies the establishment of Asia-Pacific Digital Engineering and Delivery Hubs in different locations in the country,” SIDGS founder and chairman Venkat Madipadaga said at a press conference yesterday.
With Manila as headquarters, the company eyes to build other hubs in highly-urbanized cities like Cebu and Davao.
“The Philippines is fast emerging as a major center for a young, tech-savvy population, driving digital adoption in the dynamic APAC region,” Madipadaga said. “Many companies in banking and finance, insurance, healthcare, and retail are embarking on digital transformation journeys, and we see the Philippines as a key player.”
He also cited that the country’s strategic location in Southeast Asia and the increasing quality of digital engineers make the Philippines the ideal location for SIDGS to expand its footprint and serve the “growing digital needs” of the region.
“We’re not just watching this digital revolution unfold. We’re orchestrating it,” Madipadaga said. “This is our vision for the Philippines—a landscape where every Philippine business has the tools and access—and the unwavering confidence for Filipinos to thrive in the digital age.”
