The National Housing Authority (NHA) has inaugurated its newly built Region XII office at Koronadal City, South Cotabato “to serve more Filipinos in need of housing assistance.”
NHA general manager Joeben Tai spearheaded the construction of the new three-storey building in Prime Regional Center, Barangay Carpenter Hill on a 1,072-square meter lot to accommodate 200 employees, providing them with “comfortable, resilient and modern office spaces fit for technical operations and day-to-day activities.”
The opening of the new building “signified the effort and dedication of the NHA, along with its employees and officers in extending efficient housing services to its beneficiaries and in strengthening partnerships with local government units,” the NHA said.
The NHA office building design is features facilities that support the needs of persons with disabilities, and gender and development GAD through the inclusion of a ramp, a breastfeeding, space, and a prayer room.
“Your building is beautiful. Our only challenge is that your service will be better to provide housing to more Filipinos,” said NHA assistant general manager Alvin Feliciano.
