Taguig mayor to grads: Be kind to everyone

THE Taguig City government has advised this year’s elementary and secondary graduates “to treat everyone with kindness as you strive to achieve a bright future.

Taguig Mayor Laarni Cayetano congratulated the graduates  and offered cash incentives to the topnotchers.

On Sunday, over 6,100 elementary and high school finishers from Upper Bicutan Elementary School, Sta. Teresa Elementary School, Bagumbayan National High School, Napindan Integrated School, Gen. Ricardo G. Papa Sr. Memorial High School – Main, Tipas Elementary School – Annex, Tipas National High School, and Daang Hari Elementary School received their certificates and diplomas during the Moving Up and Commencement Exercises.

On June 1, more than 4,400 elementary and high school graduates from Eusebio C. Santos Elementary School, Taguig Integrated School, Maria Asuncion Rodriguez Tiñga High School, Maharlika Integrated School, Tipas Elementary School – Main, Bagong Tanyag Integrated School, Ciriaco P. Tinga Elementary School, Bagong Tanyag Elementary School – Annex A, and Gat Andres Bonifacio Elementary School also received their certificates and diplomas.

The top 10 students of each graduating class who mustered outstanding academic performance received incentives from the local government, with amounts ranging from P2,500 to P30,000.

Cayetano emphasized in her speech the importance of supporting the youth, aligning with the theme “Kabataang Pilipino para sa Matatag na Kinabukasan ng Bagong Pilipinas.”
