The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) said Friday the GSIS Touch mobile app, its virtual frontline, is again available for Android phone users.
The app previously became unavailable for Android users with Android 14 operating system because of compatibility issues.
The GSIS advised Android users to update the app by downloading the latest version from the Google Play Store. The GSIS Touch remained continuously available for iPhone users.
The GSIS Touch is designed to provide GSIS members with convenient access to various services such as loan applications, claims and benefits status checks directly from their mobile devices.
It aims to enhance user experience by offering a comprehensive, secure and user-friendly interface that allows members to manage their GSIS accounts without the need to visit a physical office.
More than 1.2 million GSIS members and pensioners are already registered in GSIS Touch.
