The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) holds a successful raid of seven makeshift warehouses in Brooke’s Point, Palawan on May 1, 2024. The BIR confiscated 227,351 packs of illicit cigarettes. The illicit traders and possessors were also found responsible for P150,693,543 in tax liability.
