The press presentation for Miss Earth Philippines 2024 has kicked off, introducing the twenty-nine official candidates at Lime Resort Hotel in Pasay City.
Donning pink swimsuits, three ladies were chosen as Darlings of the Press: Ira Patricia Malaluan of Batangas City (Gold), Jeyzel Ann Reyes of Fil-Com Rome, Italy (Silver), and Gwen Marie Perion of Opol, Misamis Oriental (Bronze).
Malaluan, a model and entrepreneur, also snagged the Miss Ever Bilena and Hana Top 10 Beauties 2024 titles, alongside Reyes (Rome), Kia Labiano (Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay), Samantha Dana Bug-os (Baco, Oriental Mindoro), Ihra Mel Alfeche (Matanao, Davao del Sur), Kristel Codas (Iligan City), Feliz Clareianne Thea Recentes (Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte), Chaoncy Rich Azucena (Baungon, Bukidnon), Sam Samara (Makati City), and Ansha Lichelle Jones (Zamboanga City).

Miss Universe PH swimsuit challenge selects Aqua Boracay Angels
Meanwhile, in the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 competition, the candidates sizzled during the Swimsuit Challenge competition held in Aqua Boracay, with eight ladies being named Aqua Boracay Angels: Stacey Daniella Gabriel, Ahtisa Manalo, Victoria Vincent, Kayla Rabaya Carter, Tarah Marie Valencia, Deanna Mate, and Christi Lynn McGarry. Notably, 26-year-old ABS-CBN artist Gabriel was also named Miss WeSportz by Acqua.
An additional twelve candidates were chosen as Arete Tagaytay ambassadors: Kris Tiffany Janson, Daniella Villar, Rethiana Rosa, Anita Rose Gomez, Cyrille Payumo, Eunice Deza, Mary Yasol, Christina Chalk, Mary Josephine Paaske, Alexandra Mae Rosales, Kymberlee Street, and Selena Reyes.
The winner of the Swimsuit Challenge Vote will automatically secure a spot in the semi-finals, announced during the coronation night on May 22 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
