MUPh calls for support against cyberbullying
The Miss Universe Philippines Organization (MUPh) condemned all forms of cyberbullying targeting the organization, delegates, and anyone involved with the pageant. This includes bullying, threats, and derogatory comments on their social media platforms.
MUPh recognizes the lasting mental and physical harm cyberbullying can inflict on delegates.
To combat this, MUPh will actively monitor their platforms, deleting offensive comments and blocking repeat offenders. They call for public support to end the normalization of cyberbullying and will pursue legal action under the Anti-Cybercrime Law (Republic Act No. 10175) for documented cases.
