Taguig City recently hosted a ‘Special Olympics for Persons with Down Syndrome’ at Lakeshore Hall and Mercado Del Lago in Barangay Lower Bicutan, under the auspices of the Persons with Disabilities Office, Taguig Yakap Center for Children with Disabilities, and Taguig Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit. Some 100 ‘special Olympians” took part in the events, to the delight of their respective families.
