Naic, Cavite—Standard Insurance Co. Inc.-Technical and Training Center (SICI-TTC) signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TEDSA) Region IV-A on March 15 to revitalize the TESDA curriculum in response to industry demands and empower the residents of Cavite.
TESDA officials attended the event, including regional director Baron Jose Lagran and provincial director Rosalinda Talavera.
Standard Insurance group chairman Ernesto Echauz, general manager Joselito Lazaga, administration and general services head Roxanne Rivera, finance head Mark Montales and SICI-TTC HSE lead Al Lorenzo Bancolita represented the insurance firm.
“Our dedicated commitment to uplifting the community highlights the significant impact this collaboration aims to achieve, enriching the lives of Caviteños through top-tier vocational education initiatives.” said Echauz, who is also a rear admiral of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Central to the partnership is the integration of cutting-edge technologies, such as the renowned RAPID software and other advanced equipment, into the training programs of SICI-TTC and TESDA.
They also toured SICI-TTC’s innovative multi-brand vehicle repair, restoration and recycling facility. SICI-TTC said its facility does not only symbolize a commitment to circular economy principles but also serves as a beacon of sustainable practices and holistic development.
