Netizens were quick to question the post of actress Mariel Padilla showing her undergoing glutathione drip inside the office of her husband, Senator Robinhood Padilla.
In a now deleted Instagram post, the actress wrote: “Drip anywhere is our motto! Hehehe.”
“I was going to be late so I had it done in my husband’s office hehe I never miss a drip because it really helps in soooo many ways.”
Social media users were quick to screenshot the post before the actress took it down.
On Reddit, users described the act as “inappropriate and disrespectful in so many ways.”
One user wrote: “She shouldn’t have done that in the first place… the fact that she’s flaunting her privileges when that office is being lent to her husband in order to SERVE his constituents, esp. the disadvantaged ones.”
Another wrote: “Aaand this is where our taxpayer money goes to ladies and gentlemen.”
Senator Padilla, who was visible in the background of the photo, has yet to comment as of press time.
