Fishermen’s group Pangisda Pilipinas denounced alleged Vietnam intrusion into the Philippines’ exclusive economic zone in the West Philippine Sea, carrying out use of dynamite and other illegal fishing methods that dealt massive destruction of the coral reefs, along with reclamation works involving dredging and landfill close to the Philippines-owned Spratly Island, with a view to setting up their own military barracks.
