THE Taguig City government has announced the reopening of TLC Village Love at the Park in Barangay Lower Bicutan where families and lovers can enjoy free Valentine’s Day celebrations at the park.
Love at the Park is back for its second year, with even more events and activities planned for Taguig’s nine-day Valentine’s Day celebration. The line-up includes special performances by popular artists.
The celebration began last Saturday with a mini-concert featuring Juris, Davey Langit, and Sud.
Mayor Laarni Cayetano shared a message during the opening night, emphasizing that love is the foundation of all Taguig City’s efforts. She added that Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate not just romance, but also the love of God, family, and the city’s constituents.
Cayetano also expressed gratitude to all guests, attendees, and personnel of city departments for contributing to the successful reopening of Love at the Park.
During the second day of operation on Sunday, visitors expressed commitment to their loved ones through Love Locks, shared heartfelt messages on the Hugot Board, and savored Valentine’s treats from vendors offering roses and sweets.
Love at the Park is open from February 10-18, 2024. It operates from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday to Thursday, and from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
