The Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc. (SSFI) and SM Store partnered to bring early Christmas cheer to 60 kids from the Tahanang Mapagpala Center in Caloocan City. The event, held at SM Store Megamall, kicked off with an early lunch at Wendy’s, followed by a shopping spree at the store.
SSFI President Audrey Zubiri led the spouses, including Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano, Tootsy Angara, Neil Llamanzares, Nancy de la Rosa, Gladys Cruz (wife of Senator Joel Villanueva), Atty. Emmeline Villar, and Maricel Tulfo (daughter of Senator Raffy Tulfo), helped the kids shop for clothes, shoes, accessories, and toys.
Senator Bong Go’s office donated volleyballs and basketballs, while Jollibee treated the kids to delicious food packages.
The delighted kids serenaded the spouses with Christmas Carols, thanking them and SM for making Christmas special today.
Christmas in November has been a joint project of SSFI and SM Store since 1998 to bring holiday joy to less fortunate children. Among their beneficiaries are the kids from the Tahanang Mapagpala Center, which SSFI supports.
