English indie pop band Pale Waves is heading to Manila for the Bobapalooza Arts and Music Festival happening on February 24 and 25, 2024, at the Filinvest City Event Grounds.
Known for its catchy melodies, dreamy vocals, and shoegaze-influenced sound, the four-member group will be headlining the first day of the highly-anticipated music festival.
“Manila we can’t wait to come and play for [you] for the first time at Bobapalooza Music and Arts Festival,” it wrote in a Facebook post.
Pale Waves will join local acts such as Rico Blanco, Juan Karlos, The Itchyworms, One Click Straight, Autotelic, Nobita, and Join The Club.
On the other hand, the second day will be bannered by American rock band The Band Camino together with OPM band and artists Urbandub, December Avenue, Sandwich, Chicosci, and Tanya Markova.
Pale Waves’ performance at Bobapalooza will be its first time performing in the Philippines.
The band has released two studio albums, Heavenly (2018) and Unknowns (2021), and has toured with bands such as The 1975 and The Cure.
Bobapalooza Arts and Music Festival will feature various local and international artists, art installations, food vendors, and games.
