A few months after BYD Philippines teased its plan to enhance its electric vehicle (EV) roster with the Atto 3, the all-new electric marvel has officially made its debut in the Philippines.
At a launch event held at the Glorietta Activity Center last November 17, the Atto 3 comes into the Philippine market possessing a footprint of 4,455mm in length, 1,875mm in width, and 1,615mm in height, with a 2,720mm wheelbase and 150mm ground clearance.
The interior is adorned with a lavish array of white leather, accented by black trim and subtle red highlights. Central to the dashboard is a commanding 12.8-inch infotainment system, capable of rotating for added versatility. This system, seamlessly integrated with Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto connectivity, harmonizes with a six-speaker setup for an immersive audio experience. The driver is treated to a five-inch fully digital instrument cluster, completing the futuristic ensemble.
The Atto 3 is propelled by a front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor, unleashing a formidable 201hp and 310Nm of torque. This powerful motor comes paired with two battery options: a 49.92kWh or a 60.48kWh variant. The former boasts a 0-100kph acceleration in 7.9 seconds, coupled with an impressive maximum range of 410km on a single charge. On the flip side, the latter achieves a brisker 0-100kph time of 7.3 seconds, with an extended estimated range stretching to 480km.
As for its pricing, the Atto 3 starts at P1.598 million (Dynamic model) whilst the top-of-the-line Atto 3 Premium shall go for P1,798,000.
