Local officials said 1,632 students at Tibagan High School in Barangay East Rembo and 5,483 students at Bagumbayan National High School received the items.
The local government came up with the distribution also in time for the celebration of National Children’s Month aims to give Filipino children access to a healthy environment, good education, and healthcare.
Mayor Laarni Cayetano said all public school students in Taguig City, including those from the 10 Embo barangays now under the city’s jurisdiction, will receive a school package depending on their grade level that includes a bag, school supplies, uniforms, socks, black shoes, rubber shoes, and a full set of school materials from the local government.
