Healthy Options brings expert to help Filipinos manage stress

The Department of Health (DOH) encourages Filipinos to manage stress and avoid illness as studies show that 63 percent of respondents were more anxious or stressed last year despite the pandemic winding down.

Studies also find Filipino workers as the most stressed in Southeast Asia, experiencing higher levels of worry, sadness and anger.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), stress causes or exacerbates mental health conditions like depression, which in turn is a leading cause of disability in the world.

Filipinos stress levels continue to go up due to stressors such as worsening traffic, workplace burnout, financial instability, world crises and many others. Stress is a primary health concern and the need to manage it has become a top priority.

Healthy Options, the pioneer of the healthy living movement in the country, is bringing the answers on how to manage stress with visionary stress management expert Dr. Donielle Wilson.

Wilson is coming to Manila and Cebu to talk about her bestselling book, “Master Your Stress. Reset Your Health.”

At this year’s exclusive Healthy Options Talks, Dr. Doni will share her landmark Stress Recovery Protocol, a program specifically designed to calm anxiety, boost energy and beat burnout.
