A massive housing project project under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program is now rising in Davao City.
Along with Social Housing Finance Corp. (SHFC) president Federico Laxa, Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar recently inspected the site of the project dubbed People’s Ville I, II, and III composed of 82 buildings with 8,200 residential units.
Currently, five five-story buildings are in the final phases of construction in the housing projects.
Acuzar said the project is among the 20 ongoing projects in various phases of development and construction under the administration’s flagship Pambansang Pabahay.
He requested SHFC to allot more open spaces and parks for the dwellers, especially the children, to enjoy recreational activities.
Presidential Assistant for Eastern Mindanao Secretary Leo Tereso Magno, and Subdivision and Housing Developers Association-Southern Mindanao Chapter governor Kenneth Yap committed their full support to DHSUD in the implementation of Pambansang Pabahay in Mindanao.
Yap and Magno expressed optimism that Acuzar could hurdle the challenges and deliver positive results.
Magno said “Acuzar is the right man for the job.”
