KOHLER recently launched the Central Park West bathroom collection in the Philippines. KALLISTA, in partnership with internationally acclaimed architecture and design firm Robert A.M. Stern Architects, unveiled this elegant brassware series that captures the timeless sophistication of early 20th-century design, offering a versatile bathroom solution that caters to both commercial hospitality and residential audiences.
The collaboration between Robert A.M. Stern Architects and KALLISTA were inspired by the firm’s prior use of KALLISTA products in their commercial projects. Their vision was to create a collection that transcends conventional design categories.
Robert A.M. Stern Architects explained that Central Park West exudes a modern classical aesthetic, matching the highest-end of the market in look, feel, and quality, but making it more accessible to a broader audience.
Central Park West presents a comprehensive bathroom collection encompassing sink and bath faucets, shower components, and accessories. Notably, the collection introduces a new category for KALLISTA with a shower door handle pull, towel bar, and handle escutcheon designed specifically for Central Park West. This collection seamlessly integrates with other KALLISTA designs, providing endless possibilities for large-scale hospitality bathroom installations.
The collection’s standout features include meticulously crafted faucets, characterized by knurling on the handles, supports, and spouts, as well as monogram-style lettering. The faucets are available in four distinct design choices, ranging from stylized U-shaped designs to graceful goosenecks. Each faucet boasts an engraved “H” and “C” on its bonnet, reflecting artisanal craftsmanship.
Crafted from solid brass, KALLISTA faucets ensure durability and long-lasting performance. They are equipped with the Soft Touch drain, featuring a 1.2 gal/min maximum flow rate and quarter-turn washerless ceramic disc valves. They meet CalGreen requirements for basin faucets and EPA WaterSense® certification.
The classic design references, including engraved fluting and stepped details found on the sink and bath faucets, extend throughout the collection. Central Park West offers a variety of finishes, including Polished Chrome, Unlacquered Brass, and a new PVD assortment featuring Polished Nickel and Brushed Bronze.
Robert A.M. Stern Architects described Central Park West as “timeless and sophisticated,” where every element is carefully thought out, creating a tactile experience that’s both bespoke and luxurious.
The Central Park West Collection, now available in the Philippines, invites visitors to explore luxury bathroom design at the first KALLISTA showroom in the country. Whether creating a traditional or modern bathroom oasis, this collection offers a versatile and distinctive choice for design enthusiasts.
