“We are forming a TWG. I want to, once and for all, ensure that this TWG would focus on our goal to make sure that whatever glitches we may encounter with our computer program have already been eliminated,” he said.

“So in the meantime, we will limit the… we will slowly gradually hopefully by this end of month be 100 percent LTMS, na tayo,” he added.

According to the LTO chief, he has already talked to regional directors and district officers about his goal to completely migrate toward the use of LTMS when providing service to the public.

“Almost every week, we conduct a meeting with the dealers both motorcycles and motor vehicles to tell the there would be a change in the procedure so that when the end of this month comes, there would be no reason why we have not been LTMS ready. We will all simultaneously utilize the LTMS for purposes of full transactions,” he stressed.

The LTMS is a one-stop online shop that seeks to integrate all the services being offered by the LTO through a single contactless database system and digital platform.

Mendoza vowed to digitalize the services in order to provide efficient and effective services to the public.
