Organizers said the Malikhaing Guro International Conference on Culture-Based Education is set to take place in its 10th year, using a hybrid and multi-venue approach.
The event will be held at Far Eastern University Cavite, Colegio de San Juan Letran Manaoag, and the University of the Philippines Los Banos on September 9 to 16 and September 23.
The conference, organized by the Arts Research and Training Institute in Southern Tagalog, Inc., in collaboration with the Linang Culture and Arts Network and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, aims to reach more educators and cultural advocates from all over the
country.
The conference responds to UNESCO’s Education for Sustainable Development and aligns with the Department of Education’s Matatag Curriculum.
