“It is part of our mandate to coordinate and partner with other law enforcement agencies in order to ensure safety in our surroundings, including coordination with anti-criminality authorities. The LTO is always ready to provide assistance when necessary,” he added.

Last Aug. 25, law enforcers found a red Toyota Avanza (plate no. ZGS 643) in a parking lot in Mabalacat, Pampanga, with P1.3 billion worth of suspected shabu on board.

Mendoza promised to strengthen the agency’s partnership with the PNP and other law enforcement agencies in their anti-criminality operations.

“Eradicating crimes in the country is a whole-of-nation approach. We in the LTO remain committed to be part of these anti-criminality measures,” he said.
