The South Korean rapper, songwriter and producer provided extensive creative input on the apparel line, which features NBA team-branded t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, shorts and headwear across six NBA teams: the Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, LA Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks.

The teams were selected based on the U.S. cities where SUGA performed as part of his recent solo world tour SUGA | Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’.

The new SUGA x NBA capsule collection by Mitchell & Ness is marked with SUGA’s Agust D moniker to signify his relationship with the NBA and also incorporates several design motifs inspired by his album D-DAY.

The collection will be available in the coming weeks through select brick-and-mortar and online NBA Stores, Mitchell & Ness stores, and the Weverse Shop.

Anyone interested in the collection can visit www.nba.com/SUGAxNBA today to register their interest with an NBA ID and gain access to early purchase information.

“I’m so excited for the next phase of my relationship with the league with the launch of my very own NBA capsule collection,” said SUGA. “As a longtime fan of the NBA and its teams, this collection is incredibly special to me. I look forward to sharing this with all of you.”

Last September, SUGA attended The NBA Japan Games 2022, which featured the Warriors and the Washington Wizards playing two preseason games, where he sat courtside and posted behind-the-scenes social media content, including meet-and-greets with players and legends.

SUGA also attended a regular-season game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Lakers on Jan. 12 and Game 1 of the 2023 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Miami Heat and the Knicks on April 30. SUGA most recently appeared in the 2023 NBA Finals campaign, “We Are All in the Finals.”
