DoubleDragon Corp. said Friday it broke ground on a 10-hectare industrial warehouse complex in Negros Occidental province.
DoubleDragon said in statement CentralHub-Negros would add about 74,000 square meters of industrial warehouse leasable space to the group’s total leasable portfolio.
Phase 1 of CentralHub-Negros is expected to be completed by 2024 and phase 2 by 2025.
CentralHub-Negros is strategically located along J. Apitong Ledesma Street in Silay City, Negros Occidental. It is about a fice-minute drive to Silay Negros International Airport and about 25 minutes to Bacolod City proper and Bradco Bacolod Port.
DoubleDragon said it fully leased out its CentralHub-Cebu Danao project covering a 44,601 sq. m. of industrial warehouse complex. The project is expected to generate rental income of P15.98 billion over the lease term of CentralHub-Cebu.
DoubleDragon through unit CentralHub already built six industrial warehouse complexes and is constructing similar developments in other parts of the country,
CentralHub-Capiz recently commenced construction of its phase 3 after the first two phases were fully leased out.
Most CentralHub’s tenants are logistics, FMCG (fast moving consumer goods), trading and distribution companies as well as the Jollibee Group.
The largest commissary and distribution center of Jollibee is located in Laguna, where majority of the burger patties and other supplies come from. It now forms part of the CentralHub portfolio.
DoubleDragon said CentralHub aimed to be one of the largest landlords of industrial warehouse complexes in the country as it plans to operate a complex in each of the 82 provinces in Luzon, Visayas and Mindano.
CentralHub’s industrial warehouse complexes can be used as a warehouse, commissary, cold storage facility and logistics distribution center.
