The Navotas City government, led by Mayor John Rey Tiangco and Rep. Tobias “Toby” Tiangco, distributed new fishing equipment, including a 30-feet NavoBangka equipped with a 16-horsepower engine and nets, to 30 registered fishermen.

It’s part of the Tiangco brothers’ NavoBangka-buhayan program, which began in 2018 to support Navotas fishermen, given the city’s recognition as the “Fishing Captial of the Philippines.”
