From endorsing a fast-food chain to becoming the face of a fashion brand—everyone wants a piece of the world’s most handsome man.
Following the success of attending the CELINE Homme Summer 24 Show, the French luxury jewelry brand, Cartier, has chosen V from the Korean supergroup BTS as its newest global ambassador and the face of its Panthère de Cartier campaign.
According to Cartier, Kim Taehyung, his real name, was chosen because he embodies “the same creative spirit and magnetic gaze as the panther.”
D’Arnaud Carrez, Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer of Cartier, stated, “When it came to embodying the magnetism and aura of the panther, our choice naturally fell on V.”
For his first Cartier campaign, V was seen wearing pieces from the Panthère jewelry collection during a photo shoot with Elle Korea. Stunning in a red CELINE suit, the singer-dancer shows off a sculptural panther ring and the Panthère de Cartier necklace.
The South Korean superstar now joins the A-list of Asian celebrities endorsing Cartier, alongside names such as Blackpink’s Jisoo, Got7’s Jackson Wang, and Chinese actress Gong Li.
Currently, V is working on his solo debut album, which is rumored to be released in the third quarter of 2023.
