Attended by more than 100 students, Mondelez Philippines holds a plastic collection and sustainability learning session for Parañaque Elementary School Unit II on June 26 as part of the former’s global sustainability advocacy. The event is also in celebration of the snack company’s 60 years in the Philippines and particularly sixth decade in the City of Parañaque. Together with social enterprise The Plastic Flamingo, the event gathered 35 kilograms of waste collected by the participating students, which will be diverted properly to avoid becoming marine litter.
