Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan granted P10,000 cash incentive each to 35 elementary and high school students who graduated with highest honors.

The Mayor said that this program, which started this year, aims to reward students with exemplary performance and to encourage other students to do the same. He likewise mentioned that this can also contribute to lessen the students’ expenses for the upcoming school year.

According to the Local Youth Development Office, Officer-in-Charge Carissa Policarpio, they already coordinated with the Schools Division Office (SDO) with regard to the list of students to be rewarded during graduation ceremony.

To further encourage the students and their drive to have a bright future, the city Mayor inspired them to always perform their best. He also expressed optimism that more incentives would be given out in the years to come.
