Starting as a noble endeavor in 2001, SM Foundation’s medical missions have now evolved into an initiative that encompasses a wide range of medical services and holistic support to low-income individuals.
As a testament to this, SM Foundation held a two-day medical mission in Rosales and Bayambang, Pangasinan, from June 2-3, 2023.
Launching the first day of the medical mission in SM City Rosales, SM Foundation provided medical consultations, basic laboratory tests, and dental check-ups, as well as the distribution of free medicines with proper dosages to over 389 beneficiaries.
For the medical mission’s second leg in the municipality of Bayambang, the foundation, in partnership with the Bankers Institute of the Philippines (BAIPHIL) provided 1,518 medical and dental services to over 900 beneficiaries.
Taking part in this social good initiative are its partners from DMIRIE Foundation (MX3), BAIPHIL, Region 1 Medical Center, Rosales LGU, Philippine Red Cross – Pangasinan Chapter, Bayambang City Health Office, and Bayambang PNP and Fire Department.
