Sunshine Place is relaunching Little Sunshine, a series of workshops designed for children aged 15 and below.
These workshops aim to enhance children’s dancing, creativity, and cognitive skills during their formative years when they are most receptive to learning.
Ballet workshops for kids aged five to eight years old and Hawaiian dancing (Hula) workshops for kids aged six to 11 years old will begin on June 16 with subsequent sessions on June 23, 30, July 7, 14, 21, 28, and August 4.
The classes will be conducted by experienced dance teacher Alice Sangco-Ledesma, who has received training from notable mentors in the industry.
In these Little Sunshine dancing classes, students will learn the fundamentals of ballet and Hawaiian dancing while interacting with peers of their age group. The eight-week program will culminate in a recital to showcase the talents and skills they have acquired throughout the course.
Sangco-Ledesma has previously taught dance classes at various institutions and schools.
The Little Sunshine dance workshops on ballet and hula welcome beginners who are eager to learn something new and children who simply want to have fun this season.
