Property developer Megaworld Corp. said Thursday it expects to generate up to P4 billion in sales from its newest residential tower development within its 72-hectare township development in Mandurriao, Iloilo.
Megaworld said in a statement the 22-story Firenze would offer 415 ‘smart home’ units equipped with wireless smart home systems that residents can access and control remotely via a smartphone app.
Units sizes range from up to 32 square meters for junior one-bedroom to 132 sq. m. for three-bedroom loft with balcony.
Firenze is scheduled for completion in 2028.
“We have chosen Florence as the inspiration of this new development because of its charm and interesting character that truly reflect what Iloilo Business Park has become through the years,” said Megaworld Visayas first vice president for sales and marketing Jennifer Palmares-Fong.
Firenze will rise beside The Palladium at the northern portion of Megaworld Boulevard and would be just a short walk to various commercial developments as well as the Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art.
Megaworld said the façade of Firenze would feature classic-inspired Italian architecture while the entire tower will reflect a modern contemporary look. At the fifth level, residents will enjoy various amenities, highlighted by Italian-inspired outdoor adult and children’s pool and pool deck surrounded by shrubs, vines and medium-sized trees.
There will also be an outdoor jacuzzi, symmetrical garden, pavilion, children’s playground, and an outdoor fitness area as well as a function hall with its own dry pantry and preparation area, fitness center with yoga room, game room, private dining room and daycare center.
The tower also offers a various green and sustainability features including low flow rate fixtures to promote water conservation, occupancy sensors in hallways that help conserve energy, high energy efficiency rating for major equipment, rainwater harvesting and reuse system and its own material recovery facility.
Firenze would be the seventh residential development to rise inside Iloilo Business Park.
Aside from the residential developments, the township also has 11 office buildings offering around 182,000 square meters of leasable office spaces and two business hotels—the 149-room Richmonde Hotel Iloilo and the 326-room Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo.
