Clark International Airport Corp. announced Friday the appointment of Joshua Bingcang as the company’s new president and chief executive.
Bingcang previously served as senior vice president of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority. He replaced CIAC officer-in-charge Darwin Cunanan.
A subsidiary of the BCDA, CIAC is mandated to ensure the development of the Clark civil aviation complex under the supervision by the Department of Transportation.
Under the Marcos administration, the DOTr gave CIAC regulatory supervision and oversight of activities occurring within the aviation complex, including Clark International Airport.
Bingcang was himself appointed officer-in-charge of the Clark aviation firm from 2019 to 2020, months after the privatization of the Clark International Airport.
