BI nabs alleged Aussie hacker in Interpol list

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has intercepted an Australian hacker trying to enter the Philippines.

BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco said that operatives of the BI’s Border Control and Enforcement Unit (BCIU) interdicted Risteski Borche, who attempted to enter the Philippines aboard a Cebu Pacific flight from Sydney.

Borche was apprehended upon arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.

Borche, an Australian of Macedonian descent, has been flagged by the International Police (Interpol).

The foreigner was reportedly wanted in Macedonia for unauthorized entry into a computer system, in violation of the country’s computer law.

He is facing four years imprisonment in his own country, the BI said.

He was ordered to be deported back to his port of origin and was recommended to be included in the BI’s blacklist.
