Zenaida Angping has asked for some time off as head of the Presidential Management Staff (PMS) and received the blessing of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Malacañang said Friday.
The Office of the Press Secretary said in a short statement: “Presidential Management Staff (PMS) Secretary Naida Angping has asked to take some personal time for herself and her family, and the President agreed.”

The OPS issued the statement after rumors spread on social media that Angping had resigned. The Malacañang Press Corps (MPC) is still clarifying if Angping has indeed stepped down or if she is just taking a leave from work.
