The Asian Institute of Management (AIM) is now accepting applications for the International Master in Business Administration (iMBA) program. The MBA is the institute’s flagship and most international program. With its renaming to the iMBA, AIM seeks to highlight the international opportunities that the institute provides its students.
The iMBA program is open to professionals with a minimum of two years of work experience who wish to further their education and development in the areas of business, economics, finance, accounting, marketing, operations, leadership, and strategy.
The iMBA program consists of 4 terms, totaling 12 months of intensive learning that provide students with relevant hands-on caseroom and corporate experiences. This includes an action consulting project, where students work in teams as consultants for chosen partner companies and organizations of AIM. Under the supervision of a faculty mentor, each team develops strategic solutions to address their respective business challenges.
In their final term, students may customize their learning experience further, choosing from a diverse range of electives to either broaden their perspective across multiple disciplines or focus on their desired specialization.
“For years, the MBA program of AIM has produced business leaders capable of transforming the workplace through their leadership skills, groundbreaking ideas, and exceptional work ethic. With the renaming of this program and the opening of enrollment for 2023, we look ahead to expand the possibilities for each of our students by providing them the avenue to acquire new skills and knowledge that will prepare them to succeed on a global scale,” explains Prof. Sandeep Puri, PhD, the Academic Program Director of the international Master in Business Administration.
Top-performing students of the class are given opportunities to participate in global programs such as an International Student Exchange Program and a 5-day Global Study Tour. They may also pursue a double degree through the school’s Dual Degree Program in partnership with the Yale School of Management or Thunderbird School of Global Management.
“We are very proud of our student body, which is comprised of a diverse group of industry leaders from across Asia who are given the chance to bring their knowledge, experience, and perspectives to a global landscape of businesses and cultures through the iMBA program,” says Head of the Washington SyCip Graduate School of Business, Prof. Felipe O. Calderon, CPA, CMA, PhD. The 12-month iMBA tuition fee for the January 2023 intake is USD 28,500, which includes a non-refundable reservation fee of USD 3,000 to secure a place in the program upon admission. The school also provides early bird discounts for students who enroll a month before the start of classes and a “Study Now, Pay Later” loan program for all Filipino applicants. Students may also visit the AIM website to explore other financing options and available scholarships.
